Fractured Fairy Tales
by

Fairy tales are as much a part of growing up as the first time you ride a bike or have to eat broccoli. They are something children across the world recognize and share—everyone knows how the stories end. Cinderella is mistreated by her evil stepmother and stepsisters and marries the prince, Snow White is awakened by true love’s kiss, Rapunzel loses her long hair and finds love.

But what would happen if the fairy tales changed? What if there were no fairy godmother in the Cinderella story? What if Snow White’s evil stepmother wasn’t actually that bad? Creating new stories from the ones we’ve always known can be fun, suspenseful, and exciting. We recognize the characters and know the story, but this time we aren’t sure of the ending.

This month we have some fabulous fractured fairy tales for you to discover. Check them out below!
