The Book Box Daily Team’s Favorite Fall Books!

With September just around the corner the Book Box team has compiled a list of some books that we’re anticipating for the fall. Each of us had a hard time choosing just one favorite! Be sure to check out these great reads come fall and keep your eyes peeled for even more.

Ed—Goosebumps Wanted: The Haunted Mask by R. L. Stine: Sure to be a hit with scare-seekers and reluctant readers alike, Goosebumps Wanted: The Haunted Mask is a brand-new special containing two stories featuring one of Stine’s creepiest creations—the Haunted Mask. What more could one want? [Arrow September]

Katherine—Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen: Dessen’s past books, such as That Summer and Someone Like You, bring back so many good memories for me. All of her novels have stuck with me for years so it’s no wonder I am excited for her newest book, Along for the Ride. If you love books about self-exploration, this is sure to be a hit. Annie—Bear’s Loose Tooth by Karma Wilson: I’m eagerly anticipating the adorable rhythmic read-aloud Bear’s Loose Tooth, which will be featured in Firefly September. Losing your first tooth, an experience I’m sure we all can recall, is indeed a relatable part of life and growing up. Through simple language, the charming animal friends that Bear encounters, and colorful pictures, Wilson does a fantastic job at making youngsters feel comfortable and reassured about the idea of losing their first tooth.
