Student Review: A Snicker of Magic

There are lots of books with inspiring characters, settings we wish we could visit for real, and memorable plot twists and turns.  But have you ever read a book that gave you a whole new vocabulary?

In A Snicker of Magic, we meet Felicity Juniper Pickle, a wordsmith and collector of spindiddly (better than awesome), clutzerdoodle (a dork), and of course, snicker (that’s a magical leftover—“not good for much, but enough to make it special”).  Inventive language is only part of the fun of this book, though, so our student reviewer is here to tell you more!
