Happy Hanukkah!

If your life online is anything like mine, the people you follow on Instagram and the friends you have on Facebook have started to share some of their holiday traditions. I’ve seen plenty of trees and photos of pets in sweaters. There have been a few photos of classrooms filled with snowflakes. This weekend, I saw the first photos of a menorah and a practice plate of homemade doughnuts.

Over the next eight nights, I’m looking forward to walking through my neighborhood to see the menorahs light up candle by candle. I’m hoping to try a new latke recipe. And just maybe this will be the year I manage to improve my dreidel-spinning skills enough to win some extra gelt.

Even if none of that happens, I do know that I’ll be sharing these eight books (one for each night!) with families who’ll be celebrating the Festival of Lights!

I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Dreidel

Simon and the Bear: A Hanukkah Tale

The Eight Nights of Hanukkah

The Magic Dreidels: A Hanukkah Story

The Night Before Hanukkah

ABC Hanukkah Hunt

Light the Lights: A Story About Celebrating Hanukkah and Christmas

Hanukkah Bear

These Hanukkah books are available online now!
